Work description
Oldham Council is looking to commission an early years Provider with: • significant experience of working with children 0-5 years • experience of working in early years settings both maintained and non-maintained • a comprehensive understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage • a comprehensive understanding of the 2015 Ofsted Common Inspection Framework and the Early Years Inspection Handbook • a proven track record of preparing and delivering bespoke packages of support for a range of early years providers based on robust evaluation of current practice • experience of working with owners and managers to develop a robust cycle of self-evaluation, improvement and reflection to inform target setting and action planning • experience of providing appropriate challenge and support to owners and managers of early years settings both through face to face feedback and notes of visits. • ability to provide regular updates to the Local Authority named contact • ability to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the programme of work • ability to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures for safeguarding children, including ensuring the relevant disclosure and barring requirements are upheld.
