School of Engineering Wind Tunnel

The University is inviting tenders for the provision of a general-purpose wind tunnel with the following requirements:

Minimum working cross-section: 450 mm x 450 mm Minimum wind speed: 30 ms-1 RMS Turbulence Level ≤1%

The location of the site is Bailrigg Campus, Lancaster, LA1 4YW.

There could be a requirement for further purchases, dependent on future funding.

Lancaster University reserves the right not to award a contract following this tender, nor does it bind itself to accept the lowest price or any quotation. The contract awarded shall not be split in multiple suppliers to fulfil the options.
