It is a very exciting time in the life of Marjory Kinnon School. In March 2018 they moved into a brand new, purpose built, 30 million GBP school building which offers state-of-the-art facilities to their pupils and enables them to become a three form entry school for children aged four to 16 (Early Years to Key Stage 4).Their pupil numbers will rise steadily over the next few years and at capacity they will have 288 pupils, making them one of the largest SEND schools in the country. Their former school is being demolished and the site will eventually become their new school playing fields.The new building incorporates fully fitted subject rooms for science, art, food technology, music and a library. There are dedicated sensory rooms and a therapy suite to support the additional needs of their pupils. A life skills room will enable them to teach independent living skills to the Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
