## Description

The object of the provision is to ensure the gas installations at each of the properties listed in the Property Portfolio are safe and conform to the current 'Gas Safety \(Installation and Use\) Regulations\. The gas supply installation at each property, including the ventilation requirements, will be inspected and tested for compliance with the current British Standards or equivalent and any relevant Codes of Practice and a written Gas Tightness Report produced to detail these findings\. The visit will include a visual examination of the gas supply installation and a Gas Tightness Test of all the gas pipework at each property from the transporters meter to each appliance isolation valve\. Where installed the ventilation on plant rooms and kitchens will be tested for efficacy\. The gas supply installation at each property has to be tested and inspected at 5 year intervals so each property will receive one visit during the framework\. Please note this is a Single Supplier Framework\. Additional information: Please note Stafford Borough Council, Cannock Chase District and South Staffordshire Council are not responsible for this procedure, they are a named organisation who may call off from the Framework\.
