PLAY AREA DESIGN AND BUILD - KINGSTON RECREATION GROUND, PORTSMOUTH - AWARD

Description

Portsmouth City Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from specialist play design and build companies to deliver a new play area at Kingston Recreation Ground in Portsmouth. The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to the design and build of a new play area based on conceptual ideas provided by the Council. The masterplan must achieve a naturalistic character of hardwood timber/steel-made elements where possible, within a holistic setting of earth mounds, natural boulders, tree planting, natural surfaces resembling the original concept design where possible. The Council is seeking to award the contract early August 2017 with works commencing from September 2017 and ideally completed by Christmas 2017.
