GB-Norwich: 16-019 RFQ - Furniture

Broadland Housing Group (BHG) has a requirement for furniture items for its housing schemes. Many of these schemes are for elderly people. The purpose of this RFQ is to obtain a priced list of standard furniture items required at BHG's schemes, to be called off as and when required.

Furniture must comply with the following regulations: •Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989 & 1993) •All upholstered items must have fire resistant filling material. •All upholstered items must pass the "match resistance test" as prescribed. •All upholstered items must also pass the "cigarette test" as prescribed. •Relevant safety standards: BS7176, BS7177 & BS5867 •Relevant safety standards: BS4875

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
