2-218 Commercial Delivery Regional Commercial Manager

Highways England is required to set up a contract for the provision of commercial services. The Commercial Services Division, CSD within the Commercial and Procurement Directorate support the delivery directorates to achieve good business outcomes by developing cost, time and supplier intelligence required for effective decision making. It also protects the commercial interests of Highways England through active contract and dispute management. Commercial Support is required in order to provide a service to the Commercial Delivery team. The Commercial Delivery team provide contractual advice and check and challenge services to Major Projects, MP, and Operations Directorate, OD, in support of investment decision making and associated scheme delivery. Challenges associated with Staff retention and recruitment, in this specialist area, means that support is vital. This work package will be essential to assist CSD to meet the challenges of increased demand associated with the Roads Investment Strategy and the continued push to develop estimating protocols for OD Value Management investment decision making support.
