Adult Social Care - Change Prioritisation

Adult Social Care (ASC) at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) are progressing several initiatives to improve local outcomes, but there is a need to better connect change to proactively respond to demand and performance pressures and to to realise benefits at pace. Improvements in key areas can be accelerated, such as at the Front Door, leveraging the community sector, and using digital solutions effectively. Following discussions with key stakeholders in ASC and the wider council, the Customer wishes to undertake a change prioritisation approach that clearly defines Sandwell's unique ambition and agreed transformation opportunities across the customer journey that will enable a tailored, actionable plan to be set out for the coming years to deliver greater performance and efficiencies.
