## Description

Newcastle City Council does not have discretion in regards to the service that we use for Clean Air Zone direct debit/bank transfer payments\. As directed by the Joint Air Quality Unit \(JAQU\) which is a section of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs \(DEFRA\), we must use Gocardless who have expertise with direct debit payments\.
