## Description

The role of witnesses and complainants during an investigation into a doctor's fitness to practise and at Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service \(MPTS\) hearings is crucial in providing Medical Practitioners Tribunals with a first-hand account of what has happened so that they can make a decision about a case\. We understand that being involved in our fitness to practise procedures and giving evidence at MPTS hearings can be intimidating, which is why we are committed to providing support for witnesses and complainants\. The GMC is looking for a partner to provide these services\.
