As part of Historic England's programme to tackle heritage crime and anti-social behaviour affecting historic sites in England, we are committed to providing high quality advice and guidance to law enforcement and heritage professionals and owners and community groups\. Between 2011 and 2013 a suite of guidance documents have been prepared and made available for download on the HE Heritage Crime webpages online\. The documents relate to raising knowledge and awareness of the following topics: o Risk Assessment o Crime Prevention Measures and Summary o Impact Statements o Interventions - Out of Court and Alternative Disposals o Guidance for sentencers With the publication of the new - National Strategic Threat Assessment for Heritage and Cultural Property Crime ?, the time is right for the current suite of documents to be subject to a rigorous review and refreshment process that will ensure that our organisational advice remains: o Contemporary; o Relevant; o Is targeted at the right audiences o Is concise and easy to understand o Accurate; and takes o Account of the current and emerging threats to the historic environment\.
