## Description

The Purchaser is inviting tenders for the supply of a low cost, fast turnaround, cryogen-free cryostat with a base temperature below 2 K\. This scientific equipment will be used for rapid testing of nanoelectronic samples and for developing cold electronics that will later be used inside a cryogen-free dilution refrigerator\. The system should provide a sample environment similar to the 3K/still stages of a cryogen-free dilution refrigerator: namely, a relatively large \(several litre\) cold sample volume with ~mW cooling power close to 1 K and ~100mW cooling power at 2 K, and with comparable levels of vibration Additional information: This tender is being conducted electronically using the Lancaster University e-tendering system which can be found at https://in-tendhost\.co\.uk/lancaster/ To receive documents new users must first register and obtain log in details\.
