Work description
Islington Council is seeking a provider with a range of expertise who has the appetite and vision to work with the council to take its universal youth offer into an innovative and dynamic new phase.
Providers will be required to demonstrate their ability to support young people through developing and delivering a creative and modern offer of youth work using media and the creative arts.
Providers will also need to demonstrate: ? experience of operating medium sized public buildings and developing commercial offers from them; ? experience of making maximum use of the facilities and resources available commercially and for the benefit of young people as detailed in the facilities management specification; ? ability to and experience of securing a high quality and diverse youth offer;
The successful provider will be expected to respond to and implement effectively the specific facilities and resources made available at Soap Box Youth Centre.
The council will make available a lease on Soap Box during the course of the contract for zero rent.
