Works in connection with Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG)

Unitas are looking for Contractors to carry out various works in connection with Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG). The works will largely be made up of level access showers but may also include other internal alterations such as door widening and kitchen alterations and external alterations such as ramps and external doors. All the works will be carried out at private properties within the boundaries of Stoke-on-Trent.

Unitas intends to appoint 4 Contractors on JCT Measured Terms Contracts and works will be allocated using the cascading method which means that the Contractor in first place will get 'first refusal' on all of the works. Unitas will utilise the other Contractors when first place is at full capacity and in times of high demand.

This opportunity will be evaluated based on MEAT - the split will be 40% price, 30% technical and 30& CSR.

The contract period will be 2 year initially with the option to extend for a further 2 years should both parties agree.
