Description
BFI are looking for a partner with experience in the design and delivery of crowdsourcing projects and their hosting platforms to support our data research initiatives for heritage film. In essence, we want to create a bespoke crowdsourcing project on a well-established people-powered research platform that can accommodate and give access to multiple crowdsourcing projects simultaneously. The initial crowdsourcing project we wish to design and create will be based on films within the Britain on Film map on BFI Player (http://player.bfi.org.uk/britain-on-film/). Linking from the map to the platform we are looking to use people-powered research to improve the accuracy and depth of the geo-tagging of films within the Britain on Film map (e.g. http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-the-open-road-2006/ or http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-gill-the-tempestuous-years-1966/) Additional information: To take part in this tender, please visit our website, at the address shown above, where you will need to register, if you haven’t already, and express an interest in this opportunity to access the relevant documents. Please note expressions of interest will only be accepted via the portal. Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No https://in-tendhost.co.uk/bfi/aspx/
