Bridge & Civil Structures Maintenance Works

The service comprises the investigation of the condition of existing highway and civil structures and potentially the subsequent maintenance, repair, strengthening and improvement of the structures which are maintained by Reading Borough Council. The service also includes the provision of equipment and assistance to enable the Service Manager to carry out safe structural inspections and investigations, this will include all items such as scaffolding, access platforms, confined space structures and any other tools, apparatus and necessary equipment deemed necessary to perform the service in safely and efficiently .
