## Description

The council currently employs ca 20 Gas Safe certified heating engineers in the heating section of Mechanical and Electrical \(M&E\) Operations, who carry out work on behalf of the council's direct services organisation \(DSO\)\. The Council is inviting tenders for a contract for the provision of Gas Training, Technical Advice and Audit Service\. As part of this contract M&E Operations require three main components: 1\. Gas Training including the micromanagement of expiry and renewal dates as well as the subsequent communication to operatives and staff of the council\. 2\. Technical Advise Service - on site and over the telephone \(incl\. out of hours\)\. 3\. Independent audits \(LPG, Natural Gas and Oil\) as required\.
