This requirement is for the recruitment of a new Chair for High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd. The ESA will be essential for ensuring we obtain candidates of the right calibre, with the necessary skills and expertise for a project of this scale. We have been given approval from SoS and CDL (within the last 12 months) on for the use of ESAs for this recruitment campaign. The ESA will have a specialist Government Practice with a depth of experience working within government, agencies and ALBs. To successfully run a campaign in the tight timescales, DfT's Public Appointments and Shareholder teams will provide guidance and oversight to ESA, but both teams have limited capacity to run such a process without assistance within the time scale. This requirement was procured from the CCS RM6002 framework.
