STA-0098 DFE/NCT/003 NCT Logistics Services 2017-18

Description

The primary purpose of this contract is the provision of tracked and traced overnight courier services for the delivery of consignments of Key stage 1, key stage 2 and Phonics Screening Check materials to schools for the annual national curriculum assessments. The courier must work with the STA's collation supplier to plan the collection of the consignments and ensure each batch is delivered within its nominated delivery week without loss or damage. There will be in the region of 31k cartons to deliver to 16k schools for Key stage 1, 37k cartons to deliver to 15.5k schools for Key stage 2, and around 16.5k carton to deliver to 16k schools for the Phonics Screening Check. The supplier must also be able to provide a same day delivery service to support short notice deliveries to Key stage 2 schools. Additional information: The initial term was to 31/08/2017 but the option to extend was taken so the effective end date is 31/08/2018.
