The department requires IT consultants to use the criteria set out in Ofgem's ESO Business Plan: IT Investment Plan Guidance to holistically assess the ESO's second Business Plan (BP2) IT investments and inform Ofgem's Draft Determinations in advance of the BP2 period (2023-25) and anticipated transition to a Future System Operator (FSO).
