## Description

The Organisation's SMZ & Infonet firewalls are now end of life and will not be issued any further security patches\. Replacement firewalls are required to main security and network operability\. We've discussed our environment with experts and have decided to purchase x4 Fortinet 600F firewalls which will operate in high availability mode\. We also require support for 5 years\. To maintain continuity and compatibility with current infrastructure, a direct award via the NHS SBS Framework reference SBS/19/AB/WAB/9411/23 has been utilised\.
