Description
The purpose of this contract is to design and deliver a tailored programme of practical skills learning to support prevention and management of violence and aggression (PMVA) for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust staff. The aim of the programme is to equip staff to assess risks and apply appropriate conflict resolution, de-escalation, breakaway and PMVA strategies or techniques in line with current evidence-based best practice, national guidance, and trust policies and procedures, acknowledging the service context and specific client groups. Please be aware that the trust ONLY recognises (medically risk assessed) General Services Association (GSA) physical intervention skills / techniques.
