Restricted Tender - LB Hounslow has also separately commissioned a Site Identification and Assessment Database and a Character and Design Study. The Site Identification and Assessment Database seeks to identify non-visible and active council and non-council land holdings in the Borough, and provide an assessment on their suitability, availability and achievability, barriers to delivery and development capacity. The Character and Design Study project will update the existing character study for the borough and propose borough wide design codes. Layers from both studies will be entered into a 3D city software so that users can locate identified sites and understand how outputs from the Character and Design Study, such as tall building zones, density requirements, characteristic typologies affect each site.
