## Description

Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council \(the Councils\) are producing a joint Greater Cambridge Local Plan which will cover the combined area of these local authorities\. The Councils are seeking suitably qualified consultants to prepare a Allotment & Alternative Food-growing Strategy to provide a robust evidence base for the development of the Greater Cambridge \(GC\) Local Plan, and to help inform wider service delivery\. New and existing food-growing spaces can assume a wide variety of forms across urban and rural locations, from established, traditional allotments to more diversified, horticulture community spaces such as community gardens and orchards as well as food-producing landscapes\.
