RDE 5.1 - This project aims to review microbial indicators of faecal contamination and other microbiological detection techniques in order to assess whether these could be employed to improve detection of faecal contamination and the speed of response to waterborne disease outbreaks in drinking water supplies, with a focus on the distribution system.
