Description
The UK is strengthening its Greenhouse Gas Inventory Improvement Programme to take a strategic approach to continued Inventory development. The UK wishes to ensure estimates of emissions are as robust and accurate as possible as the UK moves towards Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas emissions. To help strengthen the improvement programme, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) which manages the Inventory for the UK, will commission rapid reviews of Inventory sectors to identify areas for improvement and inform prioritisation of these improvements.
