Q050 Bolton Heat Network Detailed Project Development

The Council tendered for bids to deliver work in relation to the Bolton Town Centre/Raikes Lane Energy from Waste (EfW) heat network project, and procured against the following lots -

Lot 1 - Technical (The Council to procure an Update of Techno-Economic Work)

Lot 1 entails the preparation of a techno-economic case for a heat network for Bolton town centre with possible connection to Raikes Lane energy from waste facility, reflecting previous feasibility work, updated as necessary, to incorporate all potential costs and benefits.

Lot 3 - Legal (The Council to procure Legal Structure, Procurement Strategy and Commercial Risk)

Lot 3 entails the preparation of a draft legal structure in liaison with the council, a procurement strategy and the presentation of commercial risk.

The Council will appoint a single Provider on the Contract against each Lot.
