Description
To deliver a nationally representative survey of schools which will provide: • Robust national estimates of the activity which schools and colleges currently offer around mental health and wellbeing and the development of character. For example this may include estimates such as the percentage of schools which offer counselling: use particular tools to identify mental health needs; have joint working in place with specialist services or offer specific activities develop certain character traits in their pupils. • Qualitative evidence to explore models of delivery and experiences of different approaches in-depth. • Examples of specific activities which schools and colleges have found effective in improving mental health and developing desirable character traits. Accompanied by in depth case studies with 20 schools, colleges and AP/PRU providers
