7202B Grantham Railway Bridge Joint Repairs & 7205B Newark Railway Bridge Joint Repairs

The works consist of refurbishment of expansion joint to two bridges on Colwick Loop Road in Nottingham, this will require the tenderer to undertake the following; Arrange Highways Permit and provide single lane closure with two-way traffic signal control (possibly outside normal working hours). Inspect joint rails, replace elastomeric insert, take up and reinstate verge/kerb joint cover plates. Saw-cut carriageway surfacing adjacent to joint rails, excavate bituminous material to a depth of 40mm (nominally 1m in width) and re-surface with 'Crack Resistant' asphalt. Works to be completed by 31/03/2022
