WHC - One Town Centre and Link Drive Development - AWARD

Description

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is looking to appoint a developer(s) to undertake the redevelopment of the eastern gateway to Hatfield Town Centre The site currently has a live planning application for a mixed-use development, which received an unresolvable objection concerning the impact on heritage assets. Further studies into the heritage and townscape of Hatfield have taken place and as a conclusion, detailed site design parameters have been produced and consulted on by key stakeholders, including the Local planning authority, the Gascoyne Cecil Estate and Historic England. Revisions have been made to the current designs to take these issues into account, and the current application will be withdrawn and replaced with the revised application in September 2019. The contract is being split into two Lots (Lot 1 - One Town Centre,Lot 2 - Link Drive)
