Description
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has established a Framework Contract with a single Supplier to provide, host and manage a system known as Print Marketplace. The Print Marketplace will: • service the high-volume, low-spend print requirements across the public sector; • enable public sector Buyers with access to a pre-qualified, dynamic and local supplier base; and • offer real-time instant pricing across the print landscape. The Supplier will provide a full end to end service including the management of: the system, the print supply chain and Buyer registrations and support. CCS has partnered with YPO to put this Framework Contract in place. The full requirements are set out in Attachment 10 Framework Schedule 5 (Specification), in the ITT. Additional information: In accordance with Regulation 72 paragraph 1 (e ) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, CCS intends to modify the Print Marketplace Framework Agreement (RM6071 (PMP)) by extending the term by 6 months. PMP was awarded on 15th June 2020 as a brand new digital offering for purchasing print and supplementing the Print Management Services framework. Due to delays in the mobilisation stage the framework did not 'Go Live' until 16th December 2020, effectively losing 6 months from the framework term. Also, the CCS Print strategy has evolved and moving forward the PMP will be merged into the next Print Management framework as a standalone lot for the next procurement. However due to the differing timescales of the 2 frameworks, this would result in a 6 month gap in service for PMP (which finishes earlier) hence the need for the extension. As a result of the modification PMP will now expire on 15th December 2024 which is in line with the Print Management Services framework (RM6170), which is due to expire in December 2024. The re-procurement for both services will begin together in 2023 subject to project timescales. This modification will not result in any change to the original Framework Agreement value and it accommodates the delay in mobilisation and alignment to the Print Management re-procurement.
