## Description

Vegetation Removal and Parapet Repairs Works will be carried out under a full road closure\. The contractor will be required to work 7 days per week to enable the works to be completed in as little time as possible\. Vegetation removal will include: • Clear vegetation as shown on the contract drawing\. • Eight trees to be removed as shown on the contract drawing Masonry Repairs will include: • Carefully dismantle dislodged areas of parapets and set aside stones that are to be reused\. • Rebuild parapets according to General Arrangement drawings and reset as straight as practicable using a 1:1:6 mortar\. • Rake out and repoint all mortar on parapets in the areas shown on the contract drawing and repoint using a 1:1:6 mortar\. • One new stone to be provided \(coping south parapet\) as shown on the Contract drawing Resurfacing will include: • Plane out to 50mm depth, 550m² of HRA on the bridge • 215m² of asphalt reinforcing mesh
