RDE 497 - Food waste reporting: consumer costs survey (large businesses)

To gather evidence from large businesses who already report and non-reporting businesses who would be in scope of a food waste reporting policy, in order to answer key questions on: • What percentage, if any, of the direct cost increases from food waste reporting have been passed through to customers? • Have businesses seen cost savings from food waste reporting, and if so, what percentage have been passed through to customers? • For businesses that are not yet reporting but expect to - do they anticipate passing on any of the direct costs to consumers and if so what percentage?
