## Description

A specialist integrated sexual health service \(ISHS\) provides service users with open access to confidential, non-judgemental services including sexually transmitted infections \(STIs\) and blood borne viruses \(BBV\) testing \(including HIV\), treatment and management; HIV prevention including pre-exposure prophylaxis \(PrEP\) and post-exposure prophylaxis following sexual exposure \(PEPSE\); the full range of contraceptive provision; health promotion and prevention including relevant vaccination\. In addition to the standard ISHS service requirements the SWISH service specification has a greater focus on targeted prevention and outreach services to reduce inequalities in access and prevent unplanned pregnancies and the acquisition and transmission of STIs in target populations\.
