Work description

A BPSU surveillance study through the "orange card" reporting scheme managed by the British Pediatrics Surveillance Unit (BPSU) of the Royal College of Pediatricians and Child Health (RCPCH) on severe acute hepatitis (non A-E) of unknown cause in children from 1 April 2022 to max 31 March 2024. The BPSU system allows researchers to access over 3800 pediatricians, provides coordinated data collection system that minimized reporting burden on clinicians and the BPSU scientific committee also provides expertise and support to ensure the methodologies are effective and appropriate. UKHSA has issued a purchase order to account for the payment of this service, therefore Purchase Order Agreement is the basis which the commission is established.
