Wigan Council Carriageway Patching

Description

The purpose of this contract is to carry out various patching schemes throughout Wigan Borough, In HRA, SMA and Bitmac at various depths. The successful contractor will be expected to carry out carriageway resurfacing patching schemes at various locations within the borough of Wigan. The patching schemes will range in depth from 40mm to 150mm. Materials to be used are AC20 Dense Binder course 100/150 EN 13108-1, HRA 30/14 surf 40/60 EN13108-4 with 20mm pre-coated chippings. 10mm SMA EN13108-5 40/60 and AC10 Dense surface Course EN13108-1 100/150. The patching will involve tying into ironworks/manhole covers. Interested applicants should apply via 'The Chest' North West E-Procurement Portal at https://www.the-chest.org.uk.
