## Description

The Department for Transport \(DfT\) wishes to establish a contract with the Behavioural Insights Team \(BIT\) to oversee a project to research, develop and roll-out experimental tools for addressing common behavioural biases/heuristics in judgement and decision making in project management\. The project is being commissioned by DfT’s Governance Division and the Social and Behavioural Research \(SBR\) team\. The project will: 1\) Develop an evidence base on the availability of behavioural biases/heuristics in judgement and decision making in respect of project management\. 2\) Check how current departmental processes and systems are designed to assess the availability of behavioural biases/heuristics in judgements and decision making in relation to DfT project management and assurance\. 3\) Develop potential tools to help manage and reduce behavioural biases/heuristics in judgements and decision making in project management and assurance\. 4\) Develop a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of the tools
