Provision of Direct Debit Collection & Management for Sport Blackpool

This Specification sets out the Council's requirements in respect of the procurement of a contract for direct debit collection and management. Sport Blackpool (SB) currently have 5,349 active direct debits totalling £123,702 (Aug 18) of which £71,604 (Aug 18) health & fitness subscriptions are collected monthly via direct debit. A further £52,098 (Aug 18) is collected via swimming lessons (Learn2Swim), Active Blackpool (GP Referrals), NICAS (climbing lessons) & water sports (Paddlepower).

Currently these direct debits are collected inhouse by the SB administration team. It is anticipated that the procurement of an external, bespoke direct debit collection agency will increase revenue.
