## Description

The University of Exeter’s Medical School require a Ti-sapphire tuneable femtosecond range laser which will be used as the light source for the construction of a multiphoton fluorescence imaging platform\. This will be built on an existing Scientifica slicescope using a Scientifica scanhead and chromaflex detectors\. The final instrument will be used for a range of live cell imaging applications with a particular focus on neurobiological studies including in vivo imaging\. Fluorophores will include GFP, GCaMPs and also voltage sensitive dyes such as di-2-AN\(F\)EPPTEA\.
