Description
The construction industry is being given an opportunity to give their views and express an interest in delivering a scheme of 10-15 innovative custom or self-build homes on Council owned land near Newton Abbot. Prior to a possible tender being issued, Teignbridge District Council wants to soft market test its ideas so as to maximise likely interest by making sure that the development plans have the flexibility to respond to different approaches and are deliverable. The land at Howton Field near Newton Abbot, is close to the site of a new road which will link the A382 and A383 and to a major new homes development at Houghton Barton. The Council is planning to invite companies to bid for the pre-build site development work sufficient to create serviced plots for sale, without requiring them to offer on-plot build packages to purchasers. The Council wants to hear from developers as to whether this flexibility would encourage them to put in a bid Additional information: New users to the system must register first to obtain a user name and password before returning to this opportunity. Please refer to the suppliers guide 'Visiting Site for the First Time' by clicking the 'Help' button. Once suppliers have expressed their interest they can access the procurement documentation from 'My Activities' on the home page.
