Description
Watford Borough Council (WBC) seeks to appoint a suitable operator for the Town Hall Café which will service The Museum of Watford and the wider Town Hall at WD17 3EX. The Museum project is funded by the Council and a successful bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It is part of the Council's wider ambition to regenerate Watford Town Hall and the adjoining Colosseum entertainment venue as part of the Town Hall Quarter, please see this weblink Museum | Watford Town Hall Quarter | Watford, England. The Café, to be run by an operator, has been envisaged to serve visitors to The Museum of Watford, occupiers of the Innovation and Incubation Hub, users of the large Committee/Community room, Council staff as well as passing footfall. 1this initial notice serves as a registration of interest and also a market engagement exercise for the council to assist in scoping the vision for the Cafe which will be part of the new Museum as part of the Town hall Quarter. The Café, situated on the ground floor with new punctured openings out to an external terrace facing the Town Square opposite Watford Central Library. Please read and complete the expression of interest document and submit at the return date. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
