A689 Wynyard Roundabout Signalisation

Contract Award for the works involve the signalisation of the roundabout at the A689/The Meadows/The Wynd junction and the widening of the existing exit from The Wynd. The works include the construction of a new shared footway/cycle route linking the Wynd to the Meadows with controlled crossings on the A689. New signage will be installed at all four approaches, the speed limit through the roundabout will be reduced to 40mph and vegetation will be removed to increase visibility. The roundabout will be partially resurfaced and high friction surfacing will be added to the east and west bound approaches on the A689.
