Group Wide - Fire strategy Project - AWARD

The Science Museum Group comprises, Science Museum (London); Science and Industry Museum (Manchester); National Railway Museum (York) Locomotion: National Railway Museum (Shildon), National Science and Media Museum (Bradford) and National Collections Centre (Wroughton). Over the past decade, each site has undergone several changes to both its infrastructure and in some instances original term of use. This transformation was spearheaded as part of an ambitious programme of works under the guise of a museum-wide Masterplan. With the exception of Science and Industry Museum (Manchester) and National Railway Museum (York), the existing fire strategy at the remaining four sites is not reflective of the changes seen within each building and is thus outdated. A current and updated fire strategy is required.
