GB-Thurrock: Belhus Swimming Pool Refurbishment

The Council's requirement under this Contract is for Belhus Swimming Pool Refurbishment. The proposal is to remove the existing roof covering and glulam support structure to part of the building and install new structural steel roof supports, a new roof deck and covering with improved insulation. The existing roof lights will be removed and replaced with a new style roof light. Included in the scheme is the replacement of the mechanical ventilation equipment and other associated mechanical and electrical work. The works includes the replacement of boilers and pool filtration equipment.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
