Description
London Councils represents London's 32 borough councils and the City of London. It is a cross party organisation that works on behalf of all of its member authorities regardless of political persuasion. London Councils makes the case to government, the Mayor and others to get the best deal for Londoners and to ensure that our member authorities have the resources, freedoms and powers to do the best possible job for their residents and local businesses. London Councils, on behalf of the Local Authorities Panel (LAP), is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, credible, and experienced training provider or consultancy to design and deliver twenty (20) Emergency Centre (EC) related training sessions to local authority officers who undertake Emergency Centre Manager and Emergency Centre Officer response roles. A training provider or consultancy is being sought to ensure officers with an EC response role have the appropriate level of knowledge, skills, and confidence to be able to effectively perform their role to support individuals who have been impacted by the emergency and partner agencies responding by opening, operating, and closing an emergency centre.
