## Description

The UKHSA Wide Area Network \(WAN\) is the connectivity mechanism that links together the majority of the UKHSA sites, providing staff with access to corporate services and applications, such as email, the Intranet and data stores\. It also enables critical functions such as case and incident management, emergency response, surveillance and reporting, all of which rely on centrally hosted information systems\.
