Description

Wealden District Council (WDC) is sought a contractor to provide Works for internal alterations, adaptations and upgrades to existing bedsits, flats and communal areas to form one and two bedroom self-contained flats, refurbishment of communal and ancillary areas including associated works and services upgrades, the design of the mechanical and electrical installations to communal and ancillary areas and the strip out, adaptation, alterations and upgrade of all mechanical and electrical installations to flats and communal and ancillary areas and compartmentalisation of roof spaces, metering system, and associated external works at Joan Hughes court, walnut walk, Polegate, East Sussex BN26 5AR The works comprise of the phased stripping out of all existing bedsits and affected flats, including asbestos containing materials, internal alterations, adaptations and upgrades to form 61 No. self-contained one and two bedroom flats, refurbishment of communal and ancillary areas including associated works and services upgrades, compartmentalisation of roof spaces, provision of a metering system and associated external works.
