THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SERVICES

Hartlepool Borough Council would like to invite tenders for the provision of financial services. The aim of the service is to provide free, confidential, independent, impartial, high quality advice with a focus on but not limited to: - Personal Independence Payments - Attendance Allowance - Council Tax Support - Negotiating housing payments - Universal Credit, - Carers Allowance, - Pension credit, - Tax credit, - Employment and support allowance, - Disability living allowance - Applications and appeals - Debt including bankruptcy/negotiating with creditors/IVAs - Advocacy for people unable to advocate for themselves in benefit appeals - Support to access advocacy services to support in benefit appeals. The Service will be adaptable to change to meet future changes in relevant legalisation

The Contract will commence on the 1st April 2020 for a period of 3 years subject to funding with the potential for up to a further 2 x 12 month extensions subject to performance and funding.
