Construction and Highways Works & Services Framework Ref: DN362232

Metropolitan Borough Council intends to create a Construction and Highways Services & Works Framework (CHSWF) for the provision of Responsive & Planned Building Repairs, Construction Services and Highways Works. This Framework is being set up for Oldham Council and the Councils strategic partner, Unity Partnership, to deliver Construction and Highways Services to all internal departments and any organisation that Oldham Council is associated with. The overall objective of the framework is to support the Council to deliver their revenue and capital programmes.

The duration of the contract will be 2 years with the option of extending by a further 2 years (1 + 1)

The work will be carried out to schools, libraries and any other community buildings, any council assets and office facilities, highways, footways and bridges.

The intended make-up of the CHSWF is for the creation of individual 'Lots' across several value streams. The 'Lots' will likely cover the following but not limited to:

Responsive Repairs and Planned Maintenance covering:  Building Repairs and Maintenance  Drainage  Mechanical  AHU / Air con maintenance  Electrical  Asbestos Remediation  Legionella risk assessment  Lift Servicing  Fire Alarm Servicing  Security & CCTV  Roofing Works  Highways  Road Marking  Bridges  Water Quality  Groundworks and landscaping  Sprinklers  Fire Extinguishers/Fire Signage  Roller Shutters and Automatic Doors
