## Description

Southend Borough Council requires a suitably qualified contractor to install either a 498Kw or 996Kw Biomass pellet boiler to serve the Beecroft Gallery and Central Museum via a mini district heating system which will be incorporated within this project\. The works will include: 1\. The supply and installation of a pellet fueled biomass boiler housed within two hi-cube steel containers\. The lower container will house the boiler plant and the Pellet store will be stacked on top\. 2\. Two options will be priced: a\. A 498Kw biomass system housed within the bottom container b\. A 996Kw biomass system housed within the bottom container Comprehensive drawings and a specification will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT Contract\. The tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 60% for price and 40% for quality\. Please submit your request to tender no later than 12 noon on 9th May 2016\.
